肖像

Dad sent this portrait of trio to me yesterday. It is very nice of dad to send this over because I have long waited for this opportunity to show one of my biggest accomplishment to Alex, my fiance. I did this 13 years ago when I was about 12. I know Alex is very passionate about art, so I thought it would be very nice for us to appreciate the art work together (although the actual copy remains at my parents' place). My dad is a very caring and proud father, he has always been and will still be in the future. He loves me a lot or otherwise he wouldn't have gone through a big hassle of emailing such a wonderful picture to me (it takes some time for him to work out the computer job you know? He is getting better at it of course!). Thank you very much papa... I love you as much too!



I hope my readers don't mind me typing in english as I hope Alex, my brothers and sister-in-law can read this as well (without any need of translation)... hehe...

最近的事

春季最后的那几天一直在下雨。早又下。晚又下。
那几天算是今年里我最轻松的那几天。
因为气候凉爽，下雨的那几天我也不用刻意早起浇后院里的草。
而且遇到雨天，工作那里就没那么多人，我们也多了点时间做自己的事。

那几天过得真快啊~ 转眼间夏天又来了。
今年的夏季每一天都很热，热到满头大汗。
整片天又黄又晒，一出门就觉得闷。还有显。
而且这个时候的苍蝇蚊子特别多。
除了“日长夜短”和“衣服快干”的好处，我也找不到喜欢夏季的理由。

那天经过EB Games，看到Street Fighter 4 打了折扣。
我把它买下来送给Alex，他真的兴奋不已。
记得那时我们刚买PS3 的时候，他早就对这个game一眼钟情了。
四天后的今天，他给我送了一支香水当summer present。
是212 on ice。这香水的瓶子形状很酷。花香味很柔。我很喜欢~

最近突然又起了油画瘾，上个周末开始动笔画番茄。
周末过后，我又猛工作了，始终没有办法一次过完成它。

今天是我弟弟的生日。
我好久不见的弟弟啊~ 祝你生日快乐，心想事成咯！

Circle of Love

(This post is delibrately typed in English as I wish sweetbee could read this too!)

It has been a while since I last painted on canvas.
This flower portrait is one of my most recent paintings since I left school.
It took me an hour or so to complete this art work and...
I wish to dedicate it specially to my sweetheart, Alex who has given me a lot of encouragement and support for the entire last year.
Your love has made our relationship absolutely wonderful.

I name it after the Circle of Love because I feel warm when I think about you.

油画：母爱

爸爸给我mail来一张油画照
是我九年前的一幅展览作品
题为母爱。

这跟之前的油画开花 (click here) 不一样的是：
《开花》是acrylic （以水为主 ）
而《母爱》却以turpentine oil 为medium。

自大学以后，我都很少再碰油画
要我从新画过这幅图，是真的不大可能咯！
我想这辈子都追不回那时我对油画的仰慕和热诚。
（年纪大了，自然比较喜欢烹饪了，呵呵~）

油画：开花！

我喜欢把家里气氛搞得舒适优雅。
因为工作累了，回家时看到整齐的家里，整个人就会觉得很舒服。

男友知道我爱油画，圣诞节那时就给我买了一台油画架子，
让我在休闲时有多一份消遣活动
也让我对油画的热情能从新燃烧

这份是我们俩的第一份作品，叫做：开花！
现在分别挂在饭厅的两个角落。
因为房子是开放式，这对油画果然为房子打造了不少气氛哦！
